The weather was not what we were hoping for, but we had a few

hours with great weather on Monday afternoon.

I've been told that these creatures are harmless.

But he (it must be a male?) was so close to the fence.

I've always wondered how they can see.

I think they're big, beautiful creatures.

Yellowhammers in our garden.

The photos are taken through the window.

I call them snowbirds since

we only see them in our garden when there is snow.

In Norway we also call them 'Syvsanger', because it sounds like

they're counting from 1 to 7.

The next day the snow and birds were gone.
